SANITIZATION PROCESS OF MORRO SANTA MARTA

In the last few weeks, preventive sanitization steps began to take place  in a favela in Niteroi, against the spread of the new coronavirus. Sanitization took place at Central do Brasil train station, in ferries, in subways and, more generally, in areas where there is greater movement of people in the city of Rio de Janeiro. This procedure, ] used in several countries and in Brazil, can definitely save lives! Why not use it in favelas?

We know  this sanitization process should be carried out in all favelas! But when will public health authorities take action and disinfect the blind alleys, and any other  alleyway of Santa Marta?

We can’t wait! The fight against coronavirus is urgent, and it’s now!

Obviously, we agree and defend complete social isolation. Unfortunately, this is not a possibility  for everyone. Informal workers,  mostly low-income, still need to leave their homes and go to work in order to support themselves and their families. This is why we took it upon ourselves  to sanitize  each alleyway that takes our workers in and out of the favela!

Yes, we took it upon ourselves the job of sanitizing the favela!! We obtained initial donations and with the appropriate equipment have already voluntarily started to execute the disinfection process of the streets, alleys, and the tram of Santa Marta.

SUPPORT THIS ACTION AND HELP SAVE LIVES!

We need to continue to expand this work, but to do so we rely on donations to buy the following necessary equipments:

  • Sanitizing products proven effective  against the coronavirus, such as the fifth-generation quaternary ammonia and sodium hypochlorite
  • Protective equipment for the volunteers who are doing the cleaning of the favela.

To donate and collaborate with this action that is saving lives, contact Thiago Firmino at +55(21) 99177-9459.

Or donate through the link: https://benfeitoria.com/santa-marta-contra-o-covid19-ehw?ref=benfeitoria-pesquisa-projetos

It is a matter of life and death! We need to protect ourselves urgently! We need your help right now! DISINFECTION CAN SAVE LIVES!
